Harriet has just started a temp job at an office in London, where every desk seems to hold someone more polished than she feels. The man she frets about most is her boss. You watch from his seat, with a camera that doubles as his eyes, and the staff address him as sir.

His blonde personal assistant guards his diary like private property and assumes he cannot function without her. The moment he starts asking about the newcomer, her smile tightens. The mood is awkward, funny and slow to warm up.

Harriet hopes to survive the shift without embarrassing herself, the boss wants to learn more about her, and the assistant would like the temp to stay invisible.

Episode 1

His blonde assistant sits on the edge of a desk, hands over papers to sign and insists he cannot function without her. Elsewhere, Harriet frets in voice-over that everyone around her is stunning and her boss most of all. The assistant angles for a Thursday dinner; he asks about Harriet instead. When they meet, Harriet admits she has admired him, rushes to say she meant the firm, and he confesses he liked the first answer better.

He brushes the assistant aside and leads Harriet off for a private tour: I'll show you where the bodies are kept.

Episode 2

The assistant spots him taking Harriet into the stockroom and tells herself a temp is beneath his notice. Among the shelves he hands over company T-shirts and hoodies from conferences and charity events, then steps outside while she changes. In the office, coworkers joke crudely about the induction's length.

Harriet steps out in a white zip-up, asks for it in black, and swears at him mid-explanation. Suits you, he says; she wonders whether he means the color or the cursing, and he says both. Flustered, she groans I've just swore at my boss on my first day. The episode ends right there, with the two still alone.

Both free episodes are clothed office comedy: a low neckline on the assistant, a hoodie fitting behind a shut door and a lot of fumbled compliments.
