No tracking cookies are set here. Your age-gate answer stays in your browser's localStorage, affiliate clicks are counted without cookies, and the search runs in your browser.
Cookies and the age gate
Nothing on this site drops a tracking cookie. Once you tell the age gate that you are an adult, your browser's localStorage keeps that answer, a small storage area on your own device.
It is not a cookie, and wiping the site data in your browser removes it. You will simply meet the age gate again.
Affiliate clicks
Our outbound candy.ai links earn us a commission, so we count that a click happened, with no cookie involved. Once you land on candy.ai, that site's own cookies and privacy rules apply, so read them there.
Search
The search box runs in your browser. It works from a list of pages the site has already sent you, so what you type is not sent to our server.
Server logs and email
Like most web servers, ours keeps standard server logs. They typically hold your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string, so the site stays up and abuse can be spotted.
If you email us, we get your address and message, and they are used to write back. Questions about any of this are welcome through our contact page, and how the site earns money is explained on its own page.
