Candy AI Shorts glossary: every term, explained
Candy AI Shorts has its own vocabulary, from tokens and Premium to Spicy and digital twins. Each term below gets a few plain sentences and the numbers we verified.

How to read the list
Candy Shorts mixes shop talk with adult-platform slang, and a few words are easy to confuse. Candy AI tokens pay for single episodes, Candy AI Premium is the plan that hands you tokens, and Spicy is a locked shelf rather than a flavor.
Entries run A to Z, and where a term touches money, the figures come from our October 22, 2026 snapshot, so confirm the live price on the checkout screen before you pay. New to all this? Start with our primer on how a series is built, or skip to a verdict in our worked-through opinion of the whole product.
These definitions are our own summaries of what we read on candy.ai and in its Terms. Only candy.ai streams complete episodes, and an offer of them anywhere else is a risk of scams, malware or fake logins.
Every term, A to Z
- Billing period
- Whatever span of Premium you buy up front, from a week to 12 months. Premium's monthly 100 tokens are use-it-or-lose-it: whatever is left when the period closes vanishes. Plans roll over on their own at an unchanged price and length until you cancel under Settings on candy.ai.
- Candy AI
- The browser-based 18+ platform operated by EverAI Limited, where you chat with AI characters, generate images and video, and watch Shorts. Our guide to the platform around the Shorts section covers the rest, including why Apple's store and Google's carry no adult version.
- Candy Creators
- Candy AI's roster of digital twins that performers themselves licensed. In public series led by a twin, paid episodes cost 30 tokens apiece, against 12 on the standard shelf. The performer pages, one per twin, cover each name.
- Candy Shorts
- Candy AI's short-series section, reached through the Shorts entry in its menu. Series play in a vertical frame, are made entirely by AI and are for adults; 5 episodes is the usual run. Searches also produce CandyAI Shorts and Candy AI Shorts, which mean this same section.
- Cost to finish
- The token bill for unlocking every paid episode of one series. Picture a standard 5-episode run: three paid unlocks at 12 tokens apiece add up to 36, and a creator series of that length comes to 90. Spicy series stay out of this math. Our per-series table of episodes and token costs lists the rest.
- Digital twin
- An AI double of a real performer, licensed by her and placed on the Candy Creators roster at Candy AI. She never shot the episodes, which are generated by AI from start to finish. Each creator's profile adds a disclaimer calling the twin's output AI-generated and fictional.
- Dubbed audio
- A voice track that replaces the original dialogue, offered in five European languages, French and Italian among them. Only some series have one. Subtitles are a separate feature, so a series without a dub usually still reads in six languages.
- EverAI
- EverAI Limited, the Maltese company (registry no. C107181) that operates Candy AI. Its Terms of Service name Maltese law as the governing law, and the line on your card statement says EverAI. It does not run this independent affiliate guide.
- Free account
- Candy AI's no-cost sign-up. You can start any public series on candy.ai without logging in. Signing up costs nothing and adds episode 2 without any token charge. Candyshorts.com asks for no account for either one. Free accounts get roughly 5 chat messages. The route from sign-up to unlock shows each click.
- Free episode
- Any episode priced at 0 tokens. Timed ones span 38 to 118 seconds, and the typical one lands at 64, so call it a minute. We watch them for the NSFW check. We have clocked no paid episode, so no length is quoted for them.
- Get App
- Candy AI's prompt to keep the site one tap away on your phone. The platform runs in the browser, so it becomes a home-screen shortcut: on an iPhone you go through the Share sheet, while Android users open the browser menu. Candy AI ships no adult app through Apple or Google.
- New badge
- Candy's own marker for a series with fresh episodes: the New Episodes badge, shortened to New on phones. Whenever Candy sets it, our tracker notes the day in the tracker's diary of Candy's changes, beside price changes and added episodes.
- NSFW check
- Our rating of what a series shows. We sit through the free episodes and score the picture and the dialogue on two scales, then read the official thumbnails on locked episodes for a third, poster-based score. Spicy series have no free clip to rate. How each level is defined lives on its own page.
- Candy AI Premium is the paid plan. It bundles 100 tokens a month, 18+ image and video generation, unlimited text chat and entry to Spicy series. In our October 22, 2026 snapshot the 12-month plan came to $3.99 a month, so confirm the live price on the checkout screen. The dated plan table has the others.
- Spicy
- Candy AI's tag for a hidden group of series that signed-out visitors never see. Premium opens all of it, opening episode included, so no free clip exists. Token prices there need a signed-in account to verify, so we print none. Every Spicy series on the tracker is listed together.
- Subtitles
- On-screen text in the vertical player, alongside speed control and fullscreen. Public series we cover offer six subtitle languages, and about half also add Japanese. Exactly one series lacks subtitles on its free episodes, so read its page before counting on them.
- Token pack
- A bundle of tokens bought in one purchase, as opposed to the 100 that Premium includes each month. Candy AI's Terms set tight refund conditions: ask within 24 hours, provided you have spent no token, and only for card payments.
- Tokens
- Candy AI tokens are the credits that open paid episodes. Starting at episode 3, most public series charge 12 tokens apiece and creator series charge 30. Premium includes a monthly 100; whatever is left when the billing period ends is lost.
- Tracker
- Our daily crawl of the candy.ai library, which feeds every number and date here. When a page says first seen by our tracker, that is our own date, and it can differ from the day Candy itself added a series.
