Our narrator is the best man. He talks in voice-over, never gets a name, and turns up at a big mansion carrying a garment bag, with the wedding of his best friend Jake only 2 days away. The first person he sees is the bride, Bree, swimming in the pool.

Episode 2

As he strolls away in the dark, his voice-over concedes that he wants her and shouldn't. Rather than keep walking, he lingers at her bedroom door and says they should not. Bree replies That's what makes it exciting. and asks him to help her undress before the groom comes back.

Jake's voice drifts in from the living room: he cannot find his keys. Bree, now wearing only lace underwear and facing away from us, asks him point-blank if he truly isn't interested in his best friend's bride. The episode ends there, with Jake still in the house.
