I Picked Up a Hitchhiker on Candy AI Shorts

Picture a deserted highway in the middle of nowhere. A bearded man wearing an orange cap, driving home in an old blue pickup, slows down for a blonde woman hitching a ride. Her first question, only half a joke, is whether he might be dangerous.

In I Picked Up a Hitchhiker, Colette has just left her boyfriend behind at a gas station, so the cab of this truck is her escape route. The driver, who narrates in voice-over, cannot believe his luck. When the road runs out of options and the only motel in sight has a single room left, the story really starts.

Expect a slow-burn road story built around an everyman fantasy, with long silences and a lot of teasing.

Episode 1

The driver pulls up beside her on the bare highway. Before she gets in she checks, You're not a serial killer, right? Then she explains that she will go wherever he goes, because her boyfriend, now an ex, got left behind at a gas station. A bottle of water ends up over her shirt in the heat, and she says she needs a shower more than anything.

At the motel 40 miles later, a single room remains. He stammers, she shrugs it off and says she does not bite, and the episode ends at the door with her asking if he is coming in.

Episode 2

Inside the plain room she teases him about whether motels are new territory, and he fumbles his reply. While she showers, her ex phones up angry, and she shuts him down with I'm gone, Tyler. You'll never see me again.

Out of the shower, she tells the driver she is tired of men who need to win and wishes more of them were as kind as he is. She requests a towel, hugs it to her chest and keeps telling him to come closer. Whether the shy driver crosses the floor is where the episode stops.

Visually the free pair lands at 3 on our 0-4 ladder, for one narrow reason: a hazy nude outline behind a steamed-up shower door, plus a towel pressed to her chest. Nothing explicit is shown. Otherwise it is cropped tops, shorts and a soaked shirt, with dialogue at 1 of 3.

Posters for the paid episodes hit 2 of 3: a topless pairing, a night scene that stays clothed, and a kiss with a second woman. How we score NSFW levels explains the ladder.

Two questions stay open: what happens once they share the room, and whether Tyler, who is hunting for her, shows up again. Posters hint at a kiss between Colette and a pink-haired woman, an intimate bathroom moment and a night scene by the truck, so another character looks set to appear. Nothing else is visible.

Colette Ramsey is Candy's character for the hitchhiker role, a woman who has just walked out on her boyfriend. The driver never gets a name; you know him as a bearded narrator in an orange cap. Tyler, her ex, is just an angry voice, so the free episodes stay focused on two people.

Go for it when you want a slow, teasing road story in which a shy nice guy gets his shot. Reaching the ending uses 36 tokens, a 36% dent in one Premium month. For comparison, open the episode-by-episode price tables; the opening pair already shows the pace, so judge that before paying.
